The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities annual benefits open enrollment runs from August 26 through September 6! This is an ACTIVE enrollment, so all employees will be required to enroll online for benefits through PeopleSoft HR.

REMEMBER! Open enrollment is the one time of year you can make any adjustments you’d like for the upcoming plan year— including changing plans and adding or removing dependents from your coverage. If you do not make an election, you will not have coverage as of October 1, 2024.

There are no changes in your benefits this year!

How to Enroll

We will continue to utilize PeopleSoft to enroll in benefits for 2024-2025.

  1. Access PeopleSoft HR.
  2. Log in using your existing Windows username and password.
  3. Select Open Enrollment.
  4. Read the Welcome Screen.
  5. Verify/update dependents and beneficiary information.
  6. View Benefits Summary.
  7. Verify/update your benefits enrollment.
  8. Review any updates or changes to your benefits enrollment.
  9. Submit your enrollment.
